حذفت شبكة تويتر ما يناهز 10 آلاف حساب آلي ينشر رسائل تحرض على عدم التصويت في انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس الأميركي التي تجرى الثلاثاء.

وأشارت الشركة إلى أن الحسابات رصدت من خلال تغريدات مضللة تتعلق بالتصويت.

وقال المتحدث باسم تويتر إيان بلونكيت “اتخذنا إجراء بشأن الحسابات المعنية والنشاط على تويتر”.

وأضاف أنه جرى حذف الحسابات في أواخر أيلول/ سبتمبر وأوائل تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر.
