اختتم معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب فعاليات دورته الـ37 التي انطلقت في 31 تشرين الأول (أكتوبر) الماضي بـ2.23 مليون زائر، وأكثر من 2.7 مليار مشاهدة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وبمشاركة مميزة من اليابان ضيف شرف المعرض، وعز الدين ميهوبي، وزير الثقافة الجزائري، شخصية العام الثقافية.
وكانت الدورة السابعة والثلاثون من معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب قد شهدت حضورا لافتا من مختلف الجنسات والفئات العمرية وتفاعلا كبيرا في الفعاليات والأنشطة؛ حيث ضمت أجنحة المعرض أكثر من 1874 دار نشر من 77 دولة، قدمت 20 مليون كتاب من 1.6 مليون عنوان، منها 80 ألف عنوان جديد، إلى جانب مشاركة 472 ضيفاً من مختلف أنحاء العالم، قدموا أمام زوار المعرض ما يزيد على 1800 فعالية.
وشهدت دورة المعرض هذا العام إقبالاً كبيراً من طلبة المدارس؛ حيث أقلت نحو 5600 حافلة أكثر من 230 ألف طالب وطالبة من مختلف الجنسيات، حضروا لشراء الكتب ومشاهدة الفعاليات التي خصصتها لهم إدارة المعرض.
كما استضافت الدورة السابعة والثلاثون من معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب أعمال الدورة الرابعة من مؤتمر المكتبات الذي تنظمه هيئة الشارقة للكتاب سنوياً بالشراكة مع جمعية المكتبات الأميركية؛ حيث عقدت سلسلة ورش شارك فيها 400 من أمناء المكتبات العامة والخاصة والأكاديمية في المنطقة والعالم، واستمع المشاركون في المؤتمر إلى مداخلات من عشرين مختصاً عالمياً.
كما شهد المعرض تنظيم مؤتمر الناشرين السنوي الذي يعقد بمشاركة أكثر من 400 ناشر، عقدوا خلال فعاليات “مواعيد المتخصصين” التابعة للمؤتمر أكثر من 3 آلاف اجتماع، وقعوا 2884 طلب بيع وشراء حقوق ضمن منحة الترجمة، ويتواصل استقبال طلبات المشاركة في المنحة حتى 26 شباط (فبراير) 2019.
وقال رئيس هيئة الشارقة للكتاب، أحمد بن ركاض العامري: “نشهد في كل عام زيادة نوعية في حجم وطبيعة المشاركات في المعرض، مما يؤكد نجاح مشروع الشارقة الثقافي الذي يجسد رؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، لمكانة ودور الثقافة في بناء الإنسان والمجتمعات والحفاظ على المنجز والتراث الإنساني المشترك بين كافة شعوب الأرض”.
وتابع العامري: “أثرى المعرض هذا العام المكتبات العربية والأجنبية سواء كانت عامة أو منزلية خاصة، وقدم للجمهور آخر الإصدارات من روايات، وكتب فكرية، ودراسات وقراءات تاريخية، ونحن ننظر لكل كتاب يخرج من المعرض بمثابة لبنة جديدة تضاف لثقافة المجتمعات ووعي أفرادها بدورهم في تعزيز إيجابيات حاضرنا والتأسيس لمستقبل مزدهر”.
وأضاف العامري: “سيظل الكتاب الأداة الأفضل للتواصل بين الشعوب والثقافات، لأنه يتميز عن أدوات الاتصال الأخرى كافة التي تركز على الرسالة من طرف واحد، بتركيزه على العلاقة مع الآخر ومشاركته قيمه وطموحاته وأحلامه”.
