قال نائب الرئيس المساعد، بإدارة أسهم الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا في شركة المركز المالي الكويتي، إنه من المتوقع أن يساهم إدراج بورصة الكويت في “إم إس سي آي” (MSCI) للأسواق الناشئة في استقطاب استثمارات بقيمة 1.8 مليار دولار من صناديق المؤشرات.

وبحسب ما نشرته الجريدة، الكويتية، قال محمد العبد القادر، خلال كلمته في ورشة العمل التي نظمتها بورصة الكويت، الاثنين، إن إدراج البورصة في مؤشر “فوتسي” (FTSE) في ديسمبر الجاري، سيعمل على تحفيز السوق في المدى القريب.

وأوضح العبدالقادر أنه وبينما يعتقد أن سوق الأوراق المالية ستستمر في زخمها الإيجابي في العام المُقبل، فإنه لا ينبغي تجاهل عوامل المخاطرة، لاسيما التقلبات العالية التي يمكن أن تكون مدفوعة بعوامل جيوسياسية ورسوم التجارة الدولية وأسعار النفط المنخفضة.

من جانبه، قال رئيس قطاع إدارة المخاطر والالتزام والحوكمة ببورصة الكويت، أحمد الكسواني، في كلمته الافتتاحية للورشة، إن إدراج شركة البورصة في مؤشر “فوتسي” أخيراً سيساعد في تحسين مكانة الشركة على خريطة الأسواق المالية، وتعزيز ثقة المستثمرين لجذب رؤوس أموال جديدة إلى السوق الكويتية.

ولفت الكسواني إلى المبادرات التي تقوم بها بورصة الكويت بشأن تطوير دور علاقات المستثمرين لدى الشركات المدرجة والأشخاص المرخص لهم بالتعاون مع جمعية علاقات المستثمرين في الشرق الأوسط.
