الأمن الأردني يتسلم المتهم الرئيسي بقضية «مصنع السجائر»

أعلن الأردن، الإثنين، أن أجهزته الأمنية تسلّمت المتهم الرئيسي في قضية «الفساد»، المعروفة إعلامياً بقضية «مصنع السجائر»، عوني مطيع، بالتنسيق مع السلطات التركية.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الأردنية الرسمية «بترا»، أنه «تنفيذاً لأوامر الملك عبد الله الثاني ومتابعته الحثيثة، تمكنت الحكومة والأجهزة الأمنية الليلة، من استلام المتهم الفارّ من وجه العدالة عوني مطيع، وذلك من خلال المتابعة المستمرة والتواصل والتنسيق مع السلطات التركية المعنية».

ونقلت عن وزيرة الدولة لشؤون الإعلام الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة الأردنية، جمانة غنيمات، قولها إن «جميع الجهات المعنية استطاعت – وبعد جهود كبيرة ومتابعة مستمرة وحثيثة – على مدى عدة أشهر، من تحديد مكان المتهم وتوقيفه بتعاون مشكور من السلطات التركية المختصة».

وأوضحت غنيمات أن «الجهود جاءت تنفيذاً للتوجيهات الملكية السامية، وانطلاقاً من الإرادة القوية لترسيخ دولة القانون وتحقيق العدالة للجميع، واجتثاث الفساد من جذوره، وحماية مقدرات الدولة الأردنية».

وأضافت الوزيرة: «نؤكد مجدداً أن يد العدالة ستطال جميع الخارجين عن القانون، وكل من تسول له نفسه التطاول على المال العام كائناً مَن كان، وملاحقة الفارين منهم في كل مكان وجلبهم ليحاكموا أمام القضاء الأردني العادل».

ويأتي إعلان الجانب الأردني تسلم المتهم، بعد وقت قليل من اتصال هاتفي جرى بين الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان وعاهل الأردن الملك عبد الله الثاني بن الحسين.

وتتعلق القضية بإنتاج وتهريب سجائر بطرق غير قانونية إلى السوق الأردنية، والتهرب من ضرائب بمبالغ مالية كبيرة.

كانت قضية «مصنع السجائر» أُثيرت تحت قبة البرلمان أثناء جلسات منح الثقة لحكومة رئيس الوزراء عمر الرزاز، في 19 يوليو/تموز الماضي.

وأوعزت الحكومة الأردنية في يوليو/تموز 2018، للجهات الأمنية باتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة للقبض على 30 شخصاً، يشتبه بتورطهم في قضية فساد كبرى تعرف إعلامياً بقضية «مصنع السجائر».

وأشار رئيس الوزراء عمر الرزاز في تصريح صحفي في وقت سابق، إلى أنه نال الضوء الأخضر منذ أن شرع في تشكيل حكومته من جلالة الملك لفتح ملفات الفساد، وملاحقة المتورطين فيها أياً كانت أسماؤهم.

وأضاف الرزاز أنه ليس من العدل أن نبدأ بمطالبة المواطنين بزيادة الضرائب ونحن لم نفتح ملفات الفساد، مؤكداً أن عناوين الفساد واضحة ولا حصانة لفاسد.
