ديمقراطيو النواب الأمريكي يقدمون قانونا لإلغاء حالة الطوارئ

قدم مشرعون ديمقراطيون في مجلس النواب الأمريكي، قانونا اليوم، لإلغاء إعلان حالة الطوارئ الوطنية على الحدود الجنوبية، الصادر عن الرئيس دونالد ترامب.

وقال موقع “ذا هاوس برس جاليري” في بيان على تويتر: “خلال الجلسة التمهيدية، تقدم الديمقراطيون بقانون لإلغاء إعلان حالة الطوارئ التي أقرها الرئيس ترامب”، وتم إعداد التشريع من قبل عضو الكونجرس الأمريكي جواكين كاسترو، من ولاية تكساس، ويجري عرضه في كلا مجلسي الكونجرس.

وقال كاسترو أمس الخميس، إن 222 عضوا في البرلمان شاركوا في رعاية قانون بإنهاء إعلان حالة الطوارئ الوطنية لبناء الجدار الحدودي، وفي 15 فبراير، أعلن ترامب حالة طوارئ وطنية على الحدود الأمريكية مع المكسيك بعد أن رفض الكونجرس تخصيص الأموال المطلوبة للجدار.

وسيوفر إعلان حالة الطوارئ الوطنية مبلغ 8 مليارات دولار من التمويل الفيدرالي لبناء جدار على الحدود الجنوبية، وتهدف إدارة ترامب إلى تحويل التمويل العسكري لإنشاء حاجز فولاذي يبلغ 234 ميل على طول حدود البلاد البالغ طولها 1،950 ميل مع المكسيك.

يذكر أنه كشف استطلاع حديث للرأي، أن معظم الأمريكيين يعارضون قرار الرئيس بإعلان حالة الطوارئ الوطنية، حيث أظهر استطلاع جديد للرأي أجرته صحيفة “بوليتيكو/مورنينج كونسلت”، أول أمس الأربعاء، أن حوالي 39 في المئة ممن أجرى عليهم الإستطلاع، يؤيدون تحرك ترامب، فيما يعتقد 51 في المئة أنه كان خاطئا.
