إطلاق شبكة الجيل الرابع في سيراليون

أعلنت شركتا إريكسون وأورانج عن إطلاق شبكة الجيل الرابع في مدينة فريتاون عاصمة جمهوية سيراليون في 27 مارس 2019، حيث ستساهم الخطوة الأخير في تمكين السكان من الحصول على خدمات اتصال سريعة وموثوقة من الجيل الرابع.

تستخدم أورانج تقنيات وحلول نظام البث الراديوي من إريكسون لتوفير شبكات الجيل الرابع في 60 موقعاً، مما يساهم  في تعزيز سرعة خدمات النطاق العريض المتنقل مع وقت استجابة أقل وكفاءة أعلى في استخدام الطاقة إلى جانب تحسين استخدام النطاقات الترددية وتحقيق سرعات وصول تشبه الألياف عبر الهواء. ويمكن للمشتركين في سيراليون الاستمتاع بخدمات إنترنت أسرع، بما في ذلك الفيديو عالي الدقة وممارشة الألعاب عبر الإنترنت وذلك بفضل وقت الاستجابة المنخفض في عملية تحميل ونقل البيانات.

ومن جهتها قالت رافيه إبراهيم، رئيس إريكسون الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا: “استكمالاً لشراكتنا الاستراتيجية وطويلة الأمد مع شركة أورانج، نواصل اليوم رحلتنا الناجحة والمميزة لنشر شبكات الجيل الرابع في جمهورية سيراليون. وسيمكّن نظام البث الراديوي الذي طورناه في إريكسون شريكنا أورانج من الاستمرار في توفير تجربة استخدام فائقة ومتميزة للمشتركين الحاليين والمستقبليين”.
