نساء وفتيات شابات و”حاجات”، حفيدات وأمهات وجدات، ممثلات ومغنيات وإعلاميات وعاملات في شتى المجالات شاركن في المظاهرات التي يشهدها لبنان منذ أيام.
ويحتج المتظاهرون على الضرائب التي فرضتها الحكومة على قطاعات حياتية عدة وعلى تردي الوضع الاقتصادي والمعيشي الذي حرمهم من خدمات هي حق كل مواطن.

ورحّب مغردون آخرون بمشاركة نجيم وغيرها من الفنانات في المظاهرات التي تشهد مواجهات مع قوات الأمن بالإضافة إلى بعض أعمال العنف.
كما تداول مستخدمو مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيديو للفنانة اللبنانية #نادين_الراسي وهي تشارك في حرق الإطارات في الشارع بعد كلمة قالت فيها إنها جُوّعت وشرّدت من منزلها بعد أن أخذه منها مصرف لبنان.
وغير اللاتي نزلن إلى ساحات التظاهر، عبّرت فنانات لبنانيات عبر صفحاتهن على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي عن دعمهنّ للمتظاهرين واصطفافهن وراء مطالبهم. ومن بين هؤلاء من تصادف اندلاع المظاهرات مع وجودهن خارج لبنان مثل أليسا ونانسي عجرم.
