تظاهر عشرات الأميركيين من أصول عراقية أمام البيت الأبيض في العاصمة واشنطن، السبت، تضامنا مع الحراك في الشارع العراقي.

وطالب المتظاهرون بإصلاح شامل لمؤسسة الدولة في العراق عبر إيقاف العمل بالدستور وحل الحكومة والبرلمان و إعادة تشكيل النظام السياسي في العراق.

وقام عدد من المتظاهرين بتمثيل عمليات سقوط القتلى في العراق خلال التظاهرات الأخيرة، مطالبين الإدارة الأميركية بدعم مطالب العراقيين في الداخل.

وقد قتل ما لا يقل عن 63 شخصاً في غضون 48 ساعة في العراق، خلال تظاهرات تطالب بـ”إسقاط النظام” شهدت إحراق مقار أحزاب سياسية وفصائل مسلحة ومنازل مسؤولين محليين.

وتعتبر هذه الموجة الثانية من الاحتجاجات غير المسبوقة في البلاد التي انطلقت أولى صفحاتها في الأول من أكتوبر الحالي وانتهت في السادس منه بمقتل 157 شخصاً، غالبيتهم من المتظاهرين، بحسب تقرير رسمي.

ويطالب المتظاهرون في عموم العراق باستقالة الحكومة وسن دستور جديد وتغيير الطبقة السياسية الحاكمة في هذا البلد الذي يحتل المرتبة الـ12 بين الدول الأكثر فساداً في العالم.
