النيابة السعودية تحكم بإعدام 5 وسجن 3 آخرين 24 عاما في قضية مقتل خاشقجي

أعلنت النيابة العامة السعودية عن صدور أحكام بالإعدام بحق 5 متهمين في قضية مقتل الصحافي جمال خاشقجي.

وأوضح المتحدث باسم النيابة السعودية، شلعان الشلعان خلال مؤتمر صحافي، أنه تمت محاكمة كل من ثبت تورطه في تلك القضية. وأضاف أن المحكمة عقدت 9 جلسات في قضية خاشقجي وصدر الحكم في الجلسة العاشرة.

كما لفت إلى أن ممثلين من أسرة خاشقجي ومن تركيا حضروا جلسات القضية.

وذكر أن التحقيقات أثبتت عدم وجود عداوة بين المدانين وخاشقجي، فضلاً عن عدم وجود نية مسبقة.

إلى ذلك، أوضح الشلعان أنه تم توجيه الاتهام إلى 11 موقوفاً، وجرى التحقيق معهم، والحكم على 5 بالإعدام وعلى 3 آخرين بالسجن في أحكام وصلت بمجملها إلى 24 عاماً.

كما أضاف أن المحكمة ردت طلبات تتعلق بـ 10 أشخاص، وحكمت بإطلاق سراحهم لعدم كفاية الأدلة ومن بينهم أحمد العسيري نائب رئيس المخابرات، والمستشار في الديوان الملكي سعود القحطاني.

وأشار إلى أن تلك الأحكام في قضية خاشقجي غير قطعية وقابلة للاستئناف، ومن بعد الاستئناف ترفع الأحكام إلى المحكمة العليا.
