منظمة الصحة العالمية: فيروس كورونا المستجدّ يشكل “تهديدا خطيرا جدا” للعالم

قال مدير منظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس أدحانوم غيبريسوس، الثلاثاء، إنّ فيروس كورونا المستجدّ يشكل “تهديداً خطيراً جداً” للعالم.
وأضاف غيبريسوس لدى افتتاح مؤتمر منظمة الصحة العالمية حول الوباء في جنيف “وجود 99% من الحالات في الصين سيبقى حالة طوارئ كبيرة لهذا البلد، لكن ذلك يشكل تهديداً خطيراً جداً لسائر دول العالم”.

وأصيب أكثر من 42600 شخص بهذا الفيروس في الصين القارية توفي ما لا يقلّ عن 1016 منهم.
خارج الصين القارية، قتل الفيروس شخصين الأول في الفلبين، والثاني في هونغ كونغ، وتمّ تأكيد إصابة أكثر من 400 شخص في نحو 30 دولة.
وأشار إلى إنّ فريقا من الخبراء الطبيين في المنظمة وصل إلى الصين الاثنين؛ للمساعدة في تقصي أسباب وتطورات انتشار فيروس كورونا.
