صُدمت سيدة أمريكية بوجود 8,5 مليون دولار أمريكي بحسابها البنكي عقب صرف الحكومة للدعم المالي المقرر للمؤهلين له خلال أزمة فيروس كورونا المستجد.

وكانت الخزانة الأمريكية قد حددت مبالغ دعم بقيمة 1,200 دولار للفرد و2,400 لكل فرد من المتزوجين بالإضافة إلى 500 دولار عن كل طفل.

ولكن ديانا لاغولي من مدينة سانفورد بولاية كاليفورنيا وجدت بحسابها 8,5 مليون دولار بالتمام والكمال وبمجرد أن توجهت لمسؤولي البنك للاستفسار عن هذا الرقم الكبير قيل لها أنه اختفى من حسابها.

وتقول لاغولي إنها ضحكت كثيراً فور رؤيتها للمبلغ الضخم بفاتورة حسابها البنكي، وبعثت برسالة لابنها مازحة تقول له “أنظر، لقد صار أبويك من أصحاب الملايين”.

وطبقاً لوسائل إعلام أمريكية محلية، تكرر نفس الأمر مع متلق آخر للدعم الحكومي فوجد 8,2 مليون دولار بحسابه قبل أن يختفي المبلغ الضخم بعد لحظات قليلة.
