الولايات المتحدة تنضم لموقف التحالف المشدد على رفض أي خطوات أحادية في عدن وتطالب بالتراجع

أعلنت الولايات المتحدة “الثلاثاء” عن رفضها للخطوات الأحادية التي تم اتخاذها في عدن مؤخرا من قبل المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي، وشددت على ضرورة التقيد باتفاق الرياض.

وفي بيان اصدره وزير الخارجية الأمريكي، مايكل ر. بومبيو، أعرب عن قلق واشنطن إزاء إعلان المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي لإداراته الذاتية على المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرته في جنوب اليمن. وإعتبر مثل هذه الإجراءات الأحادية بأنها لن تزيد الوضع في اليمن سوى المزيد من عدم الاستقرار.

وقال البيان “هذه الإجراءات الأحادية، غير مفيدة وتهدد من جهود محارية وباء COVID 19، وأيضا جهود المبعوث الخاص للأمم المتحدة الرامية إلى إحياء المفاوضات السياسية بين الحكومة والمتمردين الحوثيين. وحث على ضرورة المشاركة في العملية السياسية المنصوص عليها في اتفاقية الرياض

بينما نشرت السفارة الأميركية لدى اليمن على موقعها في “تويتر” بيان صحفي أعرب خلاله السفير الأميركي كريستوفر هنزل، عن قلقه إزاء الإجراءات التي اتخذها المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي مؤخراً في اليمن.

وقال هنزل إن “اتخاذ خطوات أحادية الجانب كهذه لا يؤدي إلا إلى تفاقم حالة عدم الاستقرار في اليمن. وإعتبر هذه الإجراءات غير مجدية لا سيما في أوقات تتعرض فيها البلاد لتهديد فيروس كورونا”.

ودعا السفير الأميركي المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي إلى العودة إلى العملية السياسية المنصوص عليها في اتفاق الرياض.

ومن جانبها، أكدت السعودية، على ضرورة عودة الأوضاع لما قبل إعلان المجلس الانتقالي لحالة الطوارئ في عدن.

وفي جلسه إفتراضية ترأسها الثلاثاء العاهل السعودي الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز، لمجلس الوزراء، شدد فيها المجلس على ما ورد في إعلان تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن بضرورة عودة الأوضاع في عدن وبعض المحافظات الجنوبية إلى ما قبل إعلان حالة الطوارئ من جانب المجلس الانتقالي، وتأكيد إلغاء أي خطوة تخالف اتفاق الرياض .

وكان تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن، وفي مقدمتهم السعودية والإمارات، قد أعلن أمس الاثنين، ضرورة عودة الأوضاع إلى سابق وضعها، إثر إعلان حالة الطوارئ من جانب المجلس الانتقالي عبر بيانه الأخير وما ترتب عليه من تطورات للأحداث في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن وبعض المحافظات الجنوبية بالجمهورية اليمنية، مؤكداً على ضرورة إلغاء أي خطوة تخالف اتفاق الرياض والعمل على التعجيل بتنفيذه، مشيراً إلى الترحيب الدولي الواسع والدعم المباشر من الأمم المتحدة.

وأوضح التحالف أنه اتخذ ولا يزال خطوات عملية ومنهجية لتنفيذ اتفاق الرياض الذي يمثل الإطار الذي أجمع عليه الطرفان لتوحيد صفوف اليمنيين، وعودة مؤسسات الدولة، والتصدي لخطر الإرهاب، وأن المسؤولية تقع على الأطراف الموقعة على الاتفاق لاتخاذ خطوات وطنية واضحة باتجاه تنفيذ بنوده التي اتفق عليها في إطار مصفوفة تنفيذ الاتفاق المزمنة الموقع عليها من الطرفين.

وكان تحالف دعم الشرعية قد أكد أمس الاثنين، ضرورة عودة الأوضاع إلى سابق وضعها، إثر إعلان حالة الطوارئ من جانب المجلس الانتقالي عبر بيانه الأخير وما ترتب عليه من تطورات للأحداث في عدن وبعض المحافظات الجنوبية بالجمهورية اليمنية، مؤكداً ضرورة إلغاء أي خطوة تخالف اتفاق الرياض والعمل على التعجيل بتنفيذه.
