أغنياء أمريكا تزداد ثرواتهم 15 في المئة رغم إجتياح جائحة “كورونا” للعالم

أشارت إحصائية جديدة إلى أن عددا من أغنياء الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تمكنوا من زيادة ثروتهم في الوقت الذي تجتاح جائحة “كورونا” العالم.

فبحسب الإحصائية التي أجراها كل من Americans for Tax Fairness ومعهد الدراسات السياسية، فإنه في الفترة الممتدة من 18 مارس/ آذار ولغاية 19 مايو/ أيار، تمكن الأغنياء الموجودون في قائمة “أغنى 600 شخص في أمريكا” من جمع أرباح قدرت بنحو 434 مليار دولار.

وأضافت الإحصائية أن هؤلاء الأشخاص زادت ثروتهم في هذا الوقت بنسبة 15 في المئة، وتصدر القائمة مؤسس موقع “أمازون”، جيف بيزوس، بزيادة وصلت لـ34,6 مليار دولار.

وخلفه مؤسس موقع “فيسبوك”، مارك زوكربيرغ، بحجم زيادة وصل لـ25,3 مليار دولار، وجاء خلفه مؤسس شركة “مايكروسوفت”، بيل غيتس، بزيادة 8 مليارات دولار.

وبشكل عام فإن الإحصائية أظهرت تحقيق أصحاب شركات قطاع التكنولوجيا لأرباح كبيرة في الفترة التي خضع فيها العالم لفترة حجر صحي، دفعت السكان حول العالم لقضاء وقتهم في المنزل والاعتماد على وسائل التكنولوجيا والتواصل الاجتماعي.
