إختراق أجهزة الملايين جراء إستخدامهم لإصدارات زائفة من تطبيق “واتساب”

اشارت تحذيرات حديثة إلى أن هناك ملايين الأفراد يستخدمون إصدارات زائفة من تطبيق “واتساب”، مما يعرض أجهزتهم إلى خطر الاختراق، وذلك وفقاً لحساب WABetaInfo” الشهير على “تويتر”.
وأكد أن تلك النسخ من تطبيق المراسلة التابع لـ”فيسبوك” تعرض المستخدمين إلى نوع من الهجمات التي تسهل التنصت عليهم، إذ يتمكن المتسللون من اعتراض المحادثات وقراءة وتحرير النصوص.
وشدد على أن استخدام تلك النسخ المعدلة من تطبيق “واتساب” والتي لم تحصل على موافقة الشركة قد يعرض المستخدمين إلى حظر مؤقت لحساباتهم.
ويتجه بعض الأشخاص إلى استخدام إصدارات معدلة من التطبيقات لاحتوائها على مميزات إضافية، لكن دائماً ما يتم التوجيه لاستخدام الإصدارات الرسمية لأنها تضمن حماية البيانات.
