هوت الليرة التركية إلى مستويات قياسية منخفضة أمس بعد تذبذب على مدى أسبوعين ومخاوف متنامية من إخفاق جهود الدولة لتحقيق استقرار العملة بما قد ينذر بمشكلات أشد للاقتصاد.

وفي ظل التراجع القياسي للعملة مقابل الدولار واليورو، يشعر الأتراك بالقلق من تراجع الدخل والقوة الشرائية وانخفاض مستويات المعيشة في بلد معتاد على حرية التجارة والسفر.
ويأتي في الوقت الذي قال فيه البنك المركزي التركي عبر موقعه الإلكتروني أمس إنه مستعد “لاستخدام جميع الأدوات المتاحة لتقليل التقلبات الحادة في الأسواق”.
وفي بيان منفصل، قالت هيئة الرقابة المصرفية التركية إنها تعتزم إعفاء جميع البنوك الدولية من القيود السابقة على التعامل بالليرة.
وعقب البيان، جرى تداول الليرة بسعر 7.2992 ليرة لكل دولار، وهو ما يشير إلى تعاف طفيف. وفقدت العملة التركية أكثر من 22% من قيمتها في مقابل الدولار منذ بداية العام.
ويأتي استمرار التراجع رغم قيام البنوك التركية ببيع الدولار بقوة خلال معظم فترات العام لدعم الليرة.
وفي حين لزم الزعماء السياسيون الصمت، قال البنك المركزي أمس إنه سيستخدم جميع الوسائل للحد من التقلبات المفرطة في السوق. وقالت الهيئة المنظمة لعمل البنوك إنها أعفت جميع المقرضين الدوليين من بعض القيود المفروضة على تبادل النقد الأجنبي.

وتضرر القطاع السياحي، الذي سجل أرباحا بأكثر من 31 مليار يورو في البلاد العام الماضي، جراء تعليق الرحلات.
