انكماش الاقتصاد التونسي 21.6% في الربع الثاني من العام الحالي

قال المعهد الوطني للإحصاء في تونس إن اقتصاد البلاد انكمش بنسبة 21.6% في الربع الثاني من العام الحالي على أساس سنوي بسبب أزمة فيروس كورونا.

وارتفعت نسبة البطالة لتصل إلى 18% في الربع الثاني.

ويعتمد اقتصاد تونس بدرجة كبيرة على قطاع السياحة.

ورفعت الحكومة كافة القيود على الانتقالات والشركات وفتحت الحدود البحرية والبرية والجوية في 27 يونيو حزيران.

لكن الجائحة ألحقت ضررا بالغا بقطاع السياحة الذي يساهم بنحو عشرة بالمئة من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي ويعد مصدرا رئيسيا للعملة الصعبة.

وانخفضت إيرادات السياحة في الشهور الستة الأولى من العام الحالي بأكثر من 50% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي بعدما خلت منتجعات وفنادق تونس من السائحين الأجانب.
