أكثر من 916 ألف وفاة و28.5 مليون إصابة بفيروس كورونا حول العالم

أودى فيروس كورونا المستجدّ بحياة 916 ألفا و372 شخصاً على الأقل في العالم منذ أبلغ مكتب منظمة الصحة العالمية في الصين عن ظهور المرض نهاية ديسمبر(كانون الأول)، حسب تعداد وضعته وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية استناداً إلى مصادر رسميّة حتى الساعة 11,00 ت غ اليوم السبت.
وسُجّلت رسميّاً 28 مليونا و534 ألفا و330 إصابة بالفيروس منذ بدء تفشيه، تعافى منهم حتى اليوم 19 مليونا و16 ألفا و500 شخص على الأقل.
ولا تعكس هذه الأرقام إلا جزءا من العدد الفعلي للإصابات، إذ لا تجري دول عدة فحوصاً إلا للحالات الأكثر خطورة، فيما تعطي دول أخرى أولوية في إجراء الفحوص لتتبع مخالطي المصابين. وتضاف إلى ذلك محدودية إمكانات الفحص لدى عدد من الدول الفقيرة.
وسجلت الجمعة 6012 وفاة جديدة و316,377 إصابة في العالم. والدول التي سجلت أكبر عدد من الوفيات في الساعات الأربع والعشرين الأخيرة هي الولايات المتحدة (1289 وفاة) والهند (1201 وفاة) والبرازيل (874 وفاة).
والولايات المتحدة هي البلد الأكثر تضرراً من حيث عدد الوفيات والإصابات مع تسجيلها 193 ألف وفاة من أصل أكثر من ملايين و449 ألف إصابة حسب تعداد جامعة جونز هوبكنز.
بعد الولايات المتحدة، الدول الأكثر تضرراً هي البرازيل بأكثر من 130 ألف، ثم الهند مع 77472 وفاة، والمكسيك مع 70183 وفاة وبريطانيا مع 41614 وفاة.
ومن بين البلدان الأكثر تضرراً، تعد البيرو الدولة التي تسجل أكبر عدد من الوفيات نسبةً إلى عدد سكانها مع 92 وفاة لكل 100 ألف نسمة، تليها بلجيكا (86) وإسبانيا (64) وتشيلي (62) وبوليفيا (62).
