فاز الشاب وضاح ملاعب بالمركز الأوّل في برنامج “Stars of Science”  نجوم العلوم.  والمشروع الذي تمكن وضاح الفوز من خلاله يتمثل بشريحة بيولوجية “Organ-On-Chip” وهي عبارة عن شريحة بلاستيكية تعمل كأساس يجبر الخلايا بأن تنمو لتشكل أنسجة ثلاثية الأبعاد تحاكي الأنسجة المكونة في جسم الإنسان. هدف هذه الأنسجة هو تربيتها مخبرياً من أجل دراستها ودراسة الأمراض الشائعة في هذا النوع من الأنسجة لدراسة تأثير الأدوية والمحفزات البيولوجية عليها مما قد يخلق ثورة علمية في مقاربة الأمراض المزمنة كالسرطان وغيره…

‎لذلك داخل الشريحة صمم أقنية مجهرية بلاستيكية قطرها دائري ولا يتجاوز نصف المليمتر، ذو حائط رفيع جدا يحتوي على مسامات واسعة وسماكته لا تتجاوز ٧/١٠٠٠ من المليمتر ووسع كل مسام حوالي ٨/١٠٠٠ من المليمتر. عملية تصميم وتصنيع هذه الملامح والميزات المجهرية والدقيقة مستحيلة بإستخدام طرق الصناعة المجهرية الحالية، لذا قام وضاح باختراع وتصميم طريقة جديدة عالمياً تمكن من صناعة وتكوين هذه الملامح والميزات، وهنا تكمن قوة هذا المشروع المليء بالإبتكار على جميع الأصعدة الهندسية والطبية.
