ترامب أعلن الاعتراف بسيادة المغرب على الصحراء بعد اتفاق سلام مع إسرائيل

أعلن الرئيس الأميركي، دونالد ترامب، الخميس، عن اتفاق سلام جديد بين المغرب وإسرائيل، واعتراف الولايات المتحدة بسيادة المغرب على منطقة الصحراء الغربية.

وكتب الرئيس الأميركي على تويتر “اختراق تاريخي آخر اليوم، اتفق صديقتانا العظيمتان: إسرائيل والمملكة المغربية، على إقامة علاقات دبلوماسية كاملة، اختراق هائل للسلام في الشرق الأوسط!”.

 

كما أعلن الرئيس الأميركي عن توقيعه اعترافا بسيادة المغرب على الصحراء الغربية المتنازع عليها، والتي شهدت توترات مؤخرا.

وأضاف ترامب في تغريدة أخرى “لقد وقعت اليوم إعلانا يعترف بالسيادة المغربية على الصحراء الغربية. إن مقترح المغرب الجاد والواقعي للحكم الذاتي، هو الأساس الوحيد لحل عادل ودائم لتحقيق السلام الدائم والازدهار”.

وتابع ترامب في تغريدة أخرى “لقد اعترف المغرب بالولايات المتحدة عام 1777. ولذلك فإنه من المناسب أن نعترف بسيادتهم (المغرب) على الصحراء الغربية”.

يذكر أن الولايات المتحدة رعت اتفاق سلام إبراهيم، بين إسرائيل والإمارات والبحرين، والذي تم توقيعه في البيت الأبيض يوم 15 سبتمبر الماضي.
