والفيلم من إخراج تايلور شيريدان، بمشاركة النجوم نيكولاس هولت، وتايلر بيري، وجيك ويبر، وجيمس جوردان، أما قصة الفيلم فهي مأخوذة عن كتاب يحمل نفس الاسم من تأليف مايكل كوريتا.

وتتابع القصة صبيا يبلغ 14 عاما، شهد جريمة قتل وحشية، وينضم إلى برنامج حماية الشهود بهوية جديدة، وفي هذه الأثناء، انطلق القتلة في رحلة للعثور عليه، ودمروا كل من وقف في طريقهم.
