أمازيغ المغرب يطالبون بإعلان بداية العام الأمازيغي عطلة رسمية

احتشد مئات الأمازيغ في العاصمة المغربية الرباط في وقت متأخر من يوم السبت للاحتفال ببدء العام الأمازيغي الجديد ودعوا السلطات إلى جعل الاحتفال عطلة وطنية.

والمغرب موطن أكبر عدد من الأمازيغ في شمال أفريقيا الذين عانوا لفترة طويلة من تهميش لغتهم وثقافتهم أمام العربية والفرنسية مما فتح المجال لظهور حركة مناصرة للهوية الأمازيغية اكتسبت نفوذا بمرور الوقت.

وظهرت مطالب حركة الأمازيغ جليا في احتجاجات عام 2011 التي دفعت المغرب لتبني دستور وإلى تنازل العاهل المغربي عن بعض سلطاته لصالح حكومة منتخبة.

وقال عادل اداسكو أحد زعماء المجتمع المدني بين الأمازيغ في كلمة خلال الحشد ”هذا اليوم مناسبة لتأكيد عمق ارتباطنا بالأرض ولنخلد تضحيات كل من ضحى من أجل الحرية“.

والعام الأمازيغي الجديد الذي بدأ يوم الأحد هو العام رقم 2969 في ذلك التقويم.

ولم يعترف المغرب بالأمازيغية لغة رسمية سوى في الدستور الذي أقر في عام 2011. وبعد ثمانية أعوام، لم يوافق البرلمان بعد على تشريع مطلوب للسماح باستخدام اللغة الأمازيغية في المدارس والحياة العامة، ويقول نشطاء إن الحكومة تتقاعس عن تنفيذ ذلك.
