ردت النائب المستجدة في مجلس النواب الأمريكي، اليكساندريا كورتيز، على وصف الرئيس الأمريكي، دونالد ترامب، لها بأنها “نادلة بار صغيرة”، بالقول أن هذا لا يعيبها، مضيفة أن هذا الوصف مجاملة وليس اهانة لأن عملي السابق نادلة في بار منحني خبرة ميدانية حيّة في طرق العناية الصحية، بحسب ما نشره موقع “إرم نيوز”.
ونقلت شبكة فوكس نيوز عن كورتيز، النائبة عن ولاية نيويورك، قولها أنه أمر معيب من (طرف ترامب) أن يسخر من شخص لأنه من بيئة اجتماعية متواضعة، وأنه اشتغل في بار.
مضيفة أنه غير مقبول من الرئيس أن يعيب عليّ مكان ولادتي ونشأتي وطبيعة عملي. لقد تعلمت الكثير من شغلي في البار، وأصبحت ناشطة في قضايا التأمين الصحي لخدمة الناس وهو ما لم يحصل عليه الرئيس ترامب.
