وأضاف الوزير بيللو ”بصرف النظر عن الانتهاك الواضح لاتفاقية حماية العمال الفلبينيين الأجانب بين حكومتنا والكويت، يبدو أن هناك خرقًا لعقد العمل من قبل صاحب العمل“.
وطالب بيللو السلطات المعنية في الكويت بمتابعة القضية وتقديم المسؤولين عنها للعدالة، مبينًا أنه أعطى توجيهات الى إدارة التوظيف في الخارج ومكتب العمل في الخارج الفلبيني في الكويت لتعقب الوكالات الأجنبية والمحلية المسؤولة عن توظيف العاملة.
