انتخبت غازيني كريستيانا غانادوس ملكة جمال الفيليبين للعام 2019، واستطاعت الفوز باللقب بعد منافسة مع 40 متشاركة. هذا اللقب سيخوّلها تمثيل بلادها في ملكة جمال الكون بعد فوز زميلتها السابقة كاتريونا غراي باللقب العالمي، وفق ما ذكر موقع “thenational“.

غانادوس هي عارضة أزياء تبلغ من العمر 23 عاماً، من مواليد مدينة دابيتان، انتقلت في عمر الخمس سنوات إلى مدينة تاليساي. الملكة الجديدة متحدّرة من أصول فلسطينية لجهة والدها الذي لم تلتقه، لكنّها عبّرت عن أملها بالفوز في هذه الفرصة ولقائه من خلال هذه المسابقة.

اللافت أنّ ملكة جمال الفيليبين تفخر بجذورها العربية، واختارت أن تؤدي “وصلة” رقص شرقي مرتدية البزة خلال المراحل الأولى من المسابقة في نيسان الماضي.

بدأت غازيني مهنتها في عرض الأزياء عندما كانت في عمر الخامسة عشرة، وتخرّجت من جامعة سان خوسيه – ريكوليتوس وتخصّصت بالسياحة. هو ليس اللقب الجمالي الأول الذي تفوز به، لكنّه بالتأكيد اللقب الأول الذي سينقلها إلى العالمية.
