أفادت وسائل إعلام تونسية، الاثنين، بمقتل ضابط تونسي كبير و3 إرهابيين على الأقل خلال تبادل لإطلاق النار مع قوات الأمن التونسية في ولاية القصرين وسط غربي البلاد.

مصادر أمنية ذكرت أن تبادلاً لإطلاق النار حصل بين إرهابيين ووحدات من الحرس الوطني التونسي بمدينة حيدرة في ولاية القصرين قرب الحدود مع الجزائر.

ونقل موقع راديو “موزاييك” التونسي عن مصادر أمنية قولها، إن الحادث أسفر عن مقتل رئيس مركز الحرس الوطني في مدينة حيدرة المحاذية للشريط الحدودي مع الجزائر.

وتمكنت وحدات الحرس الوطني التونسي خلال العملية من القضاء على 3 إرهابيين حاولوا التسلل من جبال الكاف نحو جبال القصرين.

وجاء تبادل إطلاق النار خلال محاولة قوات الحرس الوطني التونسي صد عملية تسلل للإرهابيين من جبال الكاف نحو جبال القصرين، حيث وقعوا في كمين أمني لمنعهم من الوصول إلى هناك.

ويأتي الحادث في اليوم نفسه الذي انطلقت فيه الحملات الانتخابية في البلاد للانتخابات الرئاسية التونسية المبكرة، التي من المقرر أن تعقد في منتصف أيلول الجاري.
