أعلنت وزارة الصحة التابعة للحكومة المعترف بها دولياً في اليمن، مساء الأحد، ارتفاع عدد الوفيات من جراء الإصابة بفيروس كورونا إلى 302، بعد تسجيل 6 وفيات جديدة في محافظات حضرموت وأبين وتعز، في حين حذرت السلطات الصحية التابعة لجماعة الحوثي من كارثة صحية، بسبب احتجاز التحالف السعودي الإماراتي لإمدادات الوقود.
وكشفت لجنة مواجهة كورونا، في بيان صحافي، عن تسجيل 15 إصابة مؤكدة في محافظات حضرموت وعدن وتعز، ما يرفع عدد الإصابات بالمحافظات الخاضعة للحكومة المعترف بها دولياً إلى 1118، كما سجلت تعافي 13 من المصابين، 8 منهم في تعز، ما يرفع عدد المتعافين إلى 430.
وفي سياق مواز، حذرت وزارة الصحة التابعة لجماعة الحوثي في صنعاء، من كارثة صحية محققة تنتظر اليمنيين، خلال الأيام المقبلة؛ بسبب ما وصفتها بـ”سلبية الأمم المتحدة، وغياب دورها الحقيقي”، وذلك على خلفية أزمة الوقود التي تعيشها مناطق سيطرة الجماعة.
وقالت السلطات الصحية في صنعاء، في بيان صحافي، إنّ “استمرار تعنت التحالف السعودي الإماراتي، وبغطاء أميركي، في حجز سفن المشتقات النفطية، أوجد أزمة كبيرة على جميع الأصعدة، وعلى رأسها القطاع الصحي. معدل الاستهلاك الشهري للقطاع الصحي بشقيه الحكومي والخاص يبلغ مليونين و500 لتر، والكمية المتوفرة حالياً كافية لأيام معدودة، وهذا يعني القيام بالإغلاق التدريجي لخدمات المستشفيات”.
وفيما نددت بالإجراءات التي قام بها التحالف السعودي الإماراتي، حمّلت السلطات الصحية للحوثيين الأمم المتحدة، ومبعوثها إلى اليمن، النتائج الكارثية التي سيتسبب بها هذا الحصار، وأكدت أن استمرار الوضع الحالي “سيؤدي إلى توقف أقسام عديدة في معظم المستشفيات الحكومية والخاصة، ووفاة الآلاف من المرضى”.
وينعدم الوقود في مناطق سيطرة الحوثيين، بسبب خلافات مع الحكومة المعترف بها دولياً حول إيرادات تجارة الوقود الواصلة عبر ميناء الحديدة الخاضع لسيطرة الجماعة، غربي اليمن.
