احتفلت الأميرة البريطانية “بياتريس” بزفافها من “إدواردو مابيللي”، الجمعة، في حفلٍ “سري” اقتصر على حضور المقربين فقط بعد تأجيله ثلاث مرات كان آخرها بسبب جائحة فيروس “كورونا” المُستجد.
وبحسب الفلكلور البريطاني، فعلى العروس يوم زفافها التزين “بشيء جديد، وآخر قديم، وشيء مستعار، وآخر أزرق، و6 بنسات في حذائها يمنحها إياها والدها قبل الزفاف”، كما تقول الأغنية (Something old, new, borrowed, and blue, and sixpence in her shoe).
وتحث التقاليد العرائس على ارتداء قطعة ملابس وحلي قديمة كرمز لاستمرارية الزواج وحماية الأبناء، وشيء جديد للتفاؤل بالمستقبل، أما الشيء المستعار فيرمز لاستعارة السعادة من الآخرين، واللون الأزرق يرمز للحماية من العيون الحاسدة، أما البنسات أو القروش فترمز للرخاء.
تفاصيل حفل زفاف الأميرة “بياتريس”:
القطعة المستعارة الأولى: ارتدت الأميرة فستانًا عاجيًا عتيقًا للملكة “إليزابيث” من تصميم “نورمان هارتنيل”، ويرجع تاريخه إلى عام 1963، حيث ارتدته في حفل العرض الأول لفيلم “لورنس العرب”، وفي عشاء رسمي آخر بروما.
وبدا الفستان مختلفًا قليلًا عن حالته التي ظهرت بها الملكة في ستينيات القرن الماضي، إذ كان أكثر ضخامة ودون أكمام، لكن المصمم “ستيوارت بارفين” أعاد تجديد الفستان ليبدو مميزًا على العروس الجديدة.
الفستان مصنوع من قماش الساتان “التفتا” العاجي مُرصعًا بالماس، أما الأكمام فقد صُنعت من الأورجانزا.
القطعة المستعارة الثانية: استعارت الأميرة تاج الملكة “ماري” الألماسي المصنوع في عام 1919.
ويوصف التاج بأنه أقرب قطع المجوهرات إلى قلب الملكة “إليزابيث”، حيث ارتدته أول مرة في حفل زفافها إلى الأمير “فيليب” عام 1947.
حملت العروس باقة من الياسمين مع ورود الـ Sweet pea الوردية مع أفرع من الآس، وصنعها “باتريس فان هيلدين”، صاحب شركة RVH Floral Design.
وبعد انتهاء الحفل، تم وضع باقة الورد على قبر المحارب المجهول في “دير وستمنستر”.
