وكلما ازددت تطرفاً ستكيل الصاع بمكيالين لمن ينقدك وتزدري من يكون رأيه مغايراً، وهذا ما يطلق عليه “خطاب الكراهية”، وستنتقل بعدها إلى المرحلة الانتقائية حيث تقصي كل من لا يشجعك ويروق لك ويتوافق معك من يدعمه، ولو لم يعرف معنى رأيك، أو الغاية منه، وستتعامل مع رأيك كنص مقدس غير قابل للنقاش، وسيبدأ الأخرون بالتعامل معك بحذر بالغ، بينما سيسيطر عليك إحساس أنهم يهددون وجودك، وسيصل بك الاستبداد إلى مرحلة لن تتردد خلالها في التصعيد لتزوير الواقع، وإلقاء الشكوك في أمانة ومصداقية الآخر، هنا ستشتعل بك نار الغلو، وسيصل الحوار معك إلى ما يشبه المشي في حقل ألغام فكري، فالآخر معرض لأن تنفجر بوجهه في أي لحظة مهما صغر السبب والقضية التي يُختلف حولها، هنا أنت في مرحلة الارهاب الفكري “مبروك!”.
قد يتعذر أو يتعسر عليك السيطرة على نفسك عندما تصل إلى أعلى مستويات التطرف، ومن المتعارف عليه عن السائرين في هذه الرحلة وصولهم في نهايتها إلى نفق مظلم، يتعذر الخروج منه بدون خسائر كبرى، وأعباء لا تعد ولا تحصى، لكن الوعي والحذر منه مسبقاً أمر سهل، وربما تبدأ بتعلم أساسيات الحوار التي من الجيد تطرفك بالالتزام بنهجها، وتتعلم أن ما من رأي إلا وله أعداد لا متناهية من الزوايا قابلة للرفض في حال عرضها، وهي ليست بوابة للخصام بل تكمل بعضها، لأنك إن لم تكن معي فأنت لست ضدي، ولن ينفعك في أي حوار قواعد لعبة شد الحبل بل الرأي المعتدل.
