د. الحوطي قالت خلال مداخلة هاتفية في برنامج “الحياة اليوم” المذاع على قناة “الحياة” الفضائية، أنه مهما حدث من خلافات فردية بين المواطنين فى الدولتين لكننا مازلنا قلبا واحدا وشعبا واحد، لا يستطيع أحد أن يفرق بيننا وبين العلاقات المصرية الكويتية.

وأوضحت نرمين الحوطي، أن الأمير صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح له بصمة ثقافية وإعلامية في الكويت، متابعة أنه هو أول ما أقام الحركة الثقافية فى الكويت، وتبني الإعلام، من خلال فتح المعاهد الثقافية، وكان عاشقا للكويت وللأمة العربية جميعا.
وأشارت إلى أن جميع شعب الكويت في صدمة بعد خبر وفاة الأمير الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح، أمس، مؤكدة أنه كان يعمل من أجل الاستقرار والدعم الدائم للشعوب العربية.
