وعبَّر موسلي كذلك عن تخوفه من أن يؤدي انتشار آلات التفكير المتطورة خلال القرن الحالي إلى توقفنا عن استخدام قدراتنا الذهنية بنفس الطريقة التي نستخدمها اليوم، وهو ما قد يساعد على تسريع ظهور بعض أمراض الدماغ مثل العته والخرف.
