أصدرت محكمة جنايات عراقية حكمين بالإعدام بحق المفتي الشرعي لتنظيم القاعدة، حسبما أعلن مجلس القضاء الأعلى، الاثنين.
وقال المركز الإعلامي لمجلس القضاء الأعلى، في بيان، نشرته وكالة الأنباء العراقية، إن “محكمة جنايات صلاح الدين أصدرت حكمين بالإعدام بحق المفتي الشرعي لعصابات القاعدة الإرهابية في محافظة صلاح الدين”.
وأضاف أن المدان “اعترف في أقواله بعمله كمفتٍ شرعي في عصابات القاعدة الإرهابية، ويعد من مؤسسيها في الشرقاط وجمعته عدة لقاءات بالإرهابي أبو مصعب الزرقاوي”، الذي شغل منصب زعيم تنظيم القاعدة وقتل في 2006.
وتابع “الإرهابي اعترف بإصداره فتاوى تفيد بقتل أحد أفراد الجيش والشرطة، إضافة إلى اشتراكه بعدة جرائم خطف وقتل واستهدافه لقوات البشمركة”.
ولفت إلى أن “المدان هو مسؤول شعبة المعلومات لولاية جنوب الموصل، واشترى الأسلحة وتوزيع الرواتب على إرهابيي داعش”.
وأشار المجلس إلى أن “محكمة جنايات صلاح الدين أصدرت حكمين بالإعدام بحق الإرهابي، استناداً لأحكام المادتين الرابعة من قانون مكافحة الإرهاب رقم 13 لسنة 2005 و(406) من قانون العقوبات لسنة 1969”.
