نتنياهو يقترب أكثر من خسارة رئاسة حزب الليكود

قال مصدر في حزب “الليكود” الإسرائيلي، الخميس، إنّ زعيم الحزب، رئيس الوزراء السابق بنيامين نتنياهو، أصبح قريبا من خسارة مقعده على رأس الحزب.
وقال المصدر، الذي فضّل عدم الكشف عن اسمه، لصحيفة “جيروزليم بوست” الإسرائيلية الخاصة، إنّ “نتنياهو خسر تصويتا سريا داخل الحزب ليكون ضمن لجنة اختيار القضاة في السلطة القضائية بإسرائيل وبالتالي فقد أصبح قريبا جدا من الإقالة كرئيس للحزب”.
وأضاف “في هذا الاقتراع السري، تم الكشف عن التوازن الحقيقي للقوى في الليكود”.
ونوهت الصحيفة إلى أن “الكنيست” (البرلمان) لم يختر أي عضو من حزب “الليكود” ليكون ضمن لجنة اختيار القضاة، وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ عقدين”.
وقالت “من الواضح أن الكنيست أراد من ذلك إرسال رسالة إلى نتنياهو مفادها أنه لا يريده أن (يعبث) بالمحاكم أثناء محاكمته”.
وقال المصدر ذاته، بحسب الصحيفة: “نتنياهو أصبح خاسرا، إنه يجر الحزب (الليكود) إلى الأسفل (..) نحتاج للنظر في منصبه”.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن “عضوي حزب الليكود نير بركات ويولي إدلشتاين، هما الأبرز لخلافة نتنياهو لرئاسة الحزب في حال إقالته أو تنحيه”.
وفي يناير/كانون الثاني 2020، قدم المستشار القضائي للحكومة الإسرائيلية أفيخاي مندلبليت لائحة اتهام ضد نتنياهو بتهم الرشوة وخيانة الأمانة والاحتيال في 3 قضايا فساد، بدأت محاكمته فيها في 24 مايو/أيار من العام ذاته.
وفي 13 يونيو/حزيران الماضي، منح الكنيست الإسرائيلي الثقة للحكومة الجديدة برئاسة نفتالي بينيت ليطوي 12 عاما من حكم نتنياهو.
ورغم ذلك، بقي نتنياهو زعيما لحزب “الليكود”، وبالتالي أصبح زعيم المعارضة في إسرائيل.
