قالت تقارير صُحفية إيطالية أن النجمين كريستيانو رونالدو وأنطوان جريزمان لن يحضرا حفل توزيع جوائز الكرة الذهبية، والتي تُعقد يوم الإثنين القادم في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس.

وبحسب ما نشره موقع “سكاي سبورتس إيطاليا” فإن كلا اللاعبين لن يحضرا مراسم توزيع الجوائز، بعد الأنباء المتداولة بشكل صارخ عن فوز الكرواتي لوكا مودريتش بجائزة الكرة الذهبية.

التقارير في الآونة الأخيرة رمت إلى أن لوكا مودريتش هو الفائز بجائزة الكرة الذهبية لعام 2018، بعدما حقق لقب دوري أبطال أوروبا رفقة ريال مدريد، فضلًا عن وصوله إلى نهائي كأس العالم مع منتخب بلاده في نسخة روسيا، قبل أن يخسر أمام الديكة الفرنسية.

اللاعب البالغ من العمر 23 عامًا، كان قد توّج أيضًا بجائزة “ذا بيست” والمقدمة من الفيفا لأفضل لاعب في العالم لهذا العام، إضافة إلى فوزه بجائزة أفضل لاعب في أوروبا للعام ذاته، وتفوق في كلتا الجائزتين على البرتغالي رونالدو والمصري محمد صلاح.

وقالت مصادر “سكاس سبورتس إيطاليا” أن مورديتش أنهى التصويت في المركز الأول، بينما حل رونالدو ثانيًا وجريزمان في المركز الثالث، وهو المتوّج بلقب كأس العالم والدوري الأوروربي والسوبر الأوروبي مع ناديه أتليتكو مدريد الإسباني.

وسبق لرونالدو أن أحرز جائزة أفضل لاعب في العالم خمس مرات، وهو نفس عدد المناسبات التي حظي ميسي بالجائزة من خلالها، ويهدف كلا اللاعبان إلى الكرة السادسة والتفوق، بيد أن طموحاتيهما ستذهب أدراج الرياح بعدما تقلصت الفرصة بالنسبة لهما في الفوز بأي جائزة فردية هذا الموسم.

وتعود المرة الأخيرة التي اقتنص من خلالها لاعبًا لجائزة الكرة الذهبية خلاف رونالدو وميسي، إلى العام 2007 عندما توّج البرازيلي ولاعب ميلان وقتئذٍ ريكاردو كاكا بها، وقد يكون مودريتش هو أول من يكسر هيمنة نجمي يوفنتوس وبرشلونة على الجائزة.
