من يراقب القوى والأحزاب اللبنانية، والمسيحية منها بشكل خاص، لا يخطر بباله سوى المثل القائل: «جحا ما في غير ع خالتو». فكلهم ضعيف ويخشى عصا خارجية ما. فتراه يبرر لأصحابها كل إجراءاتهم ومواقفهم وأفعالهم، حتى ولو كانت تضر بلبنان وشعبه، وتجعله ورقة مساومة على طاولة مفاوضات مع الدول الكبرى، وتجده لا يجرؤ على انتقادهم أو حتى التلميح إلى ذلك.

مع بداية عهد الرئيس عون تأمل بعض اللبنانيين والمسيحيين تحديداً خيراً، فهو كان قد عقد اتفاقاً مع حزب الله في مار مخايل، واتبعه باتفاق معراب الذي أوصله إلى قصر بعبدا، لكن سرعان ما تكشّفت الحقائق عن الضغائن الدفينة، فانفرط تحالف القوات والتيار الوطني الحر، وحدث الأمر ذاته بين التيار والمردة، وببن القوات اللبنانية والكتائب ، ثم طفت خلافات داخل تكتل لبنان القوي وخرج عدد من النواب منه رغم أن الجنرال ميشال عون ما زال في سدة رئاسة الجمهورية.

حاول غبطة البطريرك الراعي عدة مرات إصلاح ذات البين وجمع الزعماء المسيحيين، لكنه لم يُفلح في ذلك، ولا حتى قبلوا بجمع مندوبين عنهم، وكأن ما بينهم عداء داحس والغبراء. فحقيقة خلافاتهم ليست أكثر من سباق مستمر ومستميت نحو كرسي الرئاسة.

هل بات الموارنة يعانون لعنة هذا المنصب، الذي جعلهم يتفرقون أسراباً وشراذم، وكُلٌ يُغني على ليلاه ؟؟؟.

لن أشرح تفاصيل الأحداث التي يعرفها الجميع، وتتجند فيها تحت جنح الظلام، جيوش الكترونية لمهاجمة هذه المرجعية الدينية أو الرسمية أو السياسية أو القضائية أو غير ذلك، بل ما أريد قوله بأنكم أشبه بجماعة تسلقت على شجرة تحتها قطيع من الذئاب، وكل واحد راح يقطع الجذوع التي يتمسك بها الآخرون، معتقداً أنه سيكون هو الناجي الوحيد.

هل بلغ الجميع هذا الحد من السفاف والجهل، فلكل يغرز خنجراً في خاصرة أخيه، بينما هم في أمس الحاجة إلى التعاون والتعاضد؟

الوطن يغرق! وكل واحد ينقب في القارب خلف جاره، وبدل «اتحدوا ولا تفرقوا» يطبقون «تفرّقوا ولا تتحدوا»، ودع اخيك يغرق، ودُس على ضهره لترتفع شبراً، وكأنهم لا يدرون أنهم في لُجّةٍ بلا قرار، وسيغرق المركب بهم جميعاً.

اللهم أنجِ لبنان وشعبه ممن صدأت عقولهم، وطُمس على قلوبهم، وفسدت ألبابهم، وماتت ضمائرهم، وغشا السواد على عيونهم، فباتوا يتلاطمون في بحر من الغي والحسد، وأخرجوا كل شر وضر وبلاء، وراحوا يقتتلون على فُتات المناصب، بينما الناس تهلك بين أنياب الموت والغلاء والضائقة والجوع .
