الأردن يلجأ للغاز المصري لتغطية ثلث طلبه

قالت وزيرة الطاقة الأردنية هالة زواتي، إن بلادها تستهدف زيادة الواردات من الغاز الطبيعي من مصر، لتغطي ثلث الطلبات.

وقدرت الوزيرة طلب الأردن على الغاز في 2019 بنحو 350 مليون قدم مكعبة يوميا.

وقالت زواتي، الثلاثاء: “الأردن بدأ تلقي الغاز الطبيعي من مصر في سبتمبر على أساس تجريبي عبر خط الأنابيب، لكننا نأمل في بداية 2019 أن نزيد هذه الكميات”.

وأضافت: “لم نتفق بعد مع مصر. هناك مفاوضات الآن بخصوص الكمية التي ستُضخ لكننا نأمل أن يأتي ثلث احتياجات البلد على الأقل من مصر”.

ولم تذكر الزواتي إطارا زمنيا لتحقيق ذلك الهدف، لكنها ردت على سؤال عن خط الأنابيب الذي سيربط مدينة البصرة في جنوب العراق بميناء العقبة الأردني على البحر الأحمر، قائلة: “أجرينا مناقشات مع العراق بدأت منذ سنوات”.

وتابعت المسؤولة: “مجلس الوزراء الأردني وافق عليه، وننتظر الآن الجانب العراقي لبدء العمل في خط الأنابيب. الفكرة لا تزال قائمة لكنها لم تتحقق بعد. الوضع السياسي لم يسمح”.
