نيجيريا.. مقتل 87 من “بوكو حرام” بعمليات عسكرية

قتل 87 من عناصر جماعة “بوكو حرام” الإرهابية، في عمليات عسكرية شنها الجيش شمال شرقي نيجيريا.

جاء ذلك بحسب أخبار تناقلتها وسائل إعلام محلية، الخميس، استنادًا لتصريحات صادرة عن برنارد أونيوكو، نائب المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع.

وأوضح المسؤول العسكري أن الجيش شن عمليات عسكرية ضد الجماعة الإرهابية بولاية، بورنو(شمال شرق)، أسفرت عن مقتل 87 من عناصرها، وإصابة عدد كبير منها.

جدير بالذكر أن نحو ألف من عناصر الجماعة كانوا قد استسلموا لقوات الجيش بالولاية نفسها خلال يوليو/تموز الماضي بسبب الجوع.

ومنذ العام 2009، أسفرت أعمال عنف نفذتها “بوكو حرام” عن مقتل أكثر من 20 ألف، وتسببت في تشريد الملايين في نيجيريا.

كما بدأ التنظيم منذ 2015، شنّ هجمات في الدول المجاورة مثل الكاميرون وتشاد والنيجر.

و”بوكو حرام” هو تنظيم نيجيري مسلح، تأسس في يناير/كانون الثاني 2002، ويدعو إلى تطبيق متشدد للشريعة الإسلامية في جميع الولايات، حتى الجنوبية منها ذات الأغلبية المسيحية، وأعلن في مارس/ آذار 2015 ارتباطه بتنظيم “داعش” الإرهابي.
